Weekly Healthy-ISH Meal Plan 3/17/13

I’m tired and it is late so let’s just get straight to the yummy recipes!

Monday – Lasagna Soup

We have made this before and it is was amazing! My friend Mary just recently asked me for the recipe and I figured that I needed to have this again soon! If you try any of the recipes that I post, this is the one that you need to try. So yummy!

Tuesday – Buffalo Chicken Wraps w/ Veggies

This is one of the simplest but great tasting recipes. You can make it your own too by adding your favorite extras!

1. Diced Chicken tossed in your favorite hot sauce. I love the Kroger Garlic Hot Sauce. It is super freaking spicy.
2. Your favorite shredded cheese.
3. Shredded lettuce.
4. Ranch or bleu cheese dressing.
5. Your favorite tortillas.

Layer everything to your liking on a tortilla, wrap it up and enjoy!

Wednesday – Leftovers

My parents pick the kids up on Wednesdays, from school, and my dad loves spoiling my little nuggets by picking them up McDonald’s. Normally the kids are not hungry by dinner time so Dave and I are on our own on Wednesday nights.

Thursday – Ground Beef Stroganoff

We are big fans of beef stroganoff so I was happy to find this new stroganoff casserole recipe. It looks fairly easy to prepare and then just throw it into the oven. I can’t wait to try this one out. I hope it is as good as it looks!

Friday – Skinny Meatloaf Muffins w/ BBQ Sauce w/ Garlic Mashed Potatoes & Corn

I have noticed that this recipe has been pinned a lot on Pinterest and finally I realized that I needed to try it out. My family loves meatloaf, especially when it is combined with mashed potatoes and corn. I have never made anything other than muffins and cupcakes in my muffin pan so this will be a new one for me! Wish me luck and that I don’t burn the crap out of them!

Saturday – Aunt Julie’s 50th Birthday Party! No dinner tonight, so we will be indulging on birthday apps.

Sunday – Wedding.

Yes I know, a wedding on a Sunday, but this is a Jewish wedding and I am sure that it will be beautiful and a fun time.

Hmm I am going to have to find these recipes and Pin them. I am all the time looking for something new or different to add to my list of tried and true favorites.

The lasagna soup sounds good.  I know for a fact that my kids would never eat it LOL, but the hubby and I would like it.  I am always on the hunt for new, low-cal recipes.  Taking off the weight was in some ways easier than keeping it off.
